Help: CF RC4.2 fails to start on Win2k

Ok, i have been a Centrafuse user for the past ~ 6 months (on this platform [OS & CPU]); and other than a few minor glitches it's been great. Today i rebooted my car PC, and got the "Beta expired" message (RC4). I got home, downloaded the newest software. Deinstalled the old version, deleted the Centrafuse folder, and reinstalled from the MSI package (just as i have done with the past 3-4 updates). I entered the new key when prompted.

Now, during startup after the screen changes to "Loading Plugins" i get a nasty windows like error:

Exception message:
The path is not of a legal form.
Exception type name:
System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException
Exception source:
mscorlib
Exception method:
InternalInvoke
...

When I close the error Centrafuse closes! I reinstalled, rebooted, etc, and I am getting the same error. There is NO error.log (for fun i removed the plugins folder as a test, i got an error.log with the message that folder was missing, but still the same messsage during setup). I HAVE NO CENTRAFUSE.

I cant' believe no one else has run into this. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

I added in code to auto add My Music, My Videos, My Pictures paths from My Documents, which probably don't exist on your system...

I fixed this in RC4.3 already...

open settings.xml and set <FIRSTRUN>False</FIRSTRUN>

Then open config.xml and remove the music, video, picture paths and you will be fine...

Sorry about that... I used the .NET method to give it to me, SpecialDirectory class, didn't test on Win2000 though... Haven't had one of those around for awhile...

I know check for directory exists before I add them...
