when you go into import cd and the dialog pops up with the options for import, eject, and close, if you hit import, the keyboard pops up but the dialog stays on top blocking half the keyboard...

also i cant leave the tools menu during or after importing the cd. i had to kill cf manually and start it back up. also, it would be nice to have a progress indicator for the cd import.

one more thing, i dont know if its related to the previous phoco glitch, but after i answer a call (using either my handset or the answer button in cf), it doesnt start my music back up automatically when the call is ended. i beleive this used to work.....

Plugged in another cam I had lying around and indeed, I have to complain about the cam resolution again. It is still I guess 320x240 stretched to fill the screen while the card and cam are both full PAL and work flawlessly with the PCTV app that comes with this a bit older Hauppauge PCTV card. Please use the full resolution of the device!! (or make the resolution selectable or something). I can't see as much as I would like for a rear view camera (it is meant as a safety feature as I can't see what's behind my van... am thinking about returning to the old situation of having a separate 7" PAL monitor

).

And a new bug, unfortunately:
if an mp3 is playing and you hibernate through the tools->shutdown->hibernate option, upon the next start CF won't be able to play an mp3. I did see the visualisation go into a bit of activity, but the playing time counter doesn't count and there's no sound.
Need to close CF and start it again to get sound. This is new in RC5, so it wouldn't be fair to blame the crappy onboard C-Media soundcard+drivers here

And indeed, Cam doesn't remember it was fullscreen earlier.

Not that I'm aware, even better: I don't have it

WMP10 is installed, but don't think I've run it. Did install PowerDVD 5, but had that on the previous installation as well (around RC1 or so on a completely different machine

This bug has been around for a few versions and should be fixed.

I mentioned a bit earlier (on page 3 of this thread) that the Auto Start Music function does not work.

Something else that i think has to do with that is the following. It seems that CF is set to default every time on startup. Not the settings, but the complete state. Everytime i (re)start CF i have to manually start the music before it plays, but also, if i set random for music and then close CF and restart it, the random function is also disabled again. This happens with a full reboot and just a manual CF close & start.

I haven`t had a chance yet with CF to test the NAV because it`s not in my car yet. When CF is closed, is the NAV state also saved? Like if you`re in a planned trip and need to shut down the car to fuel it up?

Everything is saved, so something is going wrong on your system....

Is there an error.log created in the install folder? If so please post it...

note: It's all saved in the file system\settings.xml, so if this file is not getting written too when you close something isn't working right...

When you installed RC5, were you coming up from a previous version? If so, which one?

This sounds a lot like the issues you'd get if you installed CF without first having uninstalled CF _AND_ deleted it's install directory. RC4.4 deletes the directory, but everything prior to that did not.

What i did:

1. Format C: partition on HDD and ReInstall XP Home (not used Windows Update)
2. Installed Drivers
3. Install CentraFuse RC5 with New Serial

Nothing else yet. No tweaks etc.

Am testing CF 5.0 with my PowerMate.
Found that when I am in entering navigation, the SHIFT+TAP function isn’t working. Able to move for a sek. then jump back to play control

in navigation you should be able to tab out of the map area and into the top navigation area, or are you talking about a menu?

What do you mean by entering navigation? from the main menu or dropdown? That would just be enter...

I have entered navigation either by drop down menu (“Global Button”) ore by main page button. (all working OK)

Then I’m taking about the menu on top of the map (cancel, zoom in, out, button for navigation menu and view button).

Have tried to use keyboard and my PowerMate (witch is the same function, and if not, I’m the stubbed one not to set it up correct

)

Using SHIFT+TAP it’s switching to “top menu” for app 5 sek. Then it’s back to play function menu. Meaning its jumping back by it’s self to the play menu.

When I enter navigation menu for “new address, Favourites and so on”. No key stroke is working. This count also when I’m going further for entering a new address. No scrolling eg. Cities and no scrolling letters on keyboard.

Discovered that the functions still are at the “mapping page” play function menu.

I will think this also counts for user with ccStick (my next purchase) as when using keyboard it’s not working.

I will check it out in navigation... You sure you can't tab out of the list views in the cities list for example and right/left through all the letters on the right? That is working for me...

The top nav is acting funny, I will check into it...
