Another new one...
  • OBD will not reconnect after resume-from-hibernate unless it's the currently displayed module.

I cannot import speedcams...

i tryed converting tomtom files to .dat and tryed freedrive .csv...

It keeps on saying: "import failed, make sure the right map is loaded"

I use destinator 6 maps for PDA (Version 2006.Q1.4155 - map of NAVTEQ)
Or do i need different maps?

I answered in the other forum you posted in... you have to have the write map loaded, check other thread...

david,

ran the updater and then when it restarted the app it stated something like: "Failed to load resources. Please run setup again.". This was when CF was starting up and it stated "Building Controls" at the time. It took a very long time before the error came up. I couldn't restart properly either because I had no taskbar when CF exited.

I tried rebooting the whole system to test and it's still doing the same thing however this time around it doesn't even have an error box, it just stays frozen on the screen with "Building Controls" and that's it.

I'll see if I can get the error log but it will be a little bit tricky (probably need to load in Safe Mode).

-EDIT- oops just read the Flux forum and found out about the internet connection issue. I'll see if this is the problem by disconnecting internet.

just tested out and appears that internet and bluetooth (Phone) have something to do with it. Can't get an error log file, but the system froze when I had my bluetooth on my phone turned on, and also when there was an internet connection available. However, if I turned off the ignition to make the PC go into Hibernate mode, the PC would load back up to the main CF screen. But... after about 5-10seconds, the whole app would freeze again.

Did you change something in the installer? I got an error from Windows Installer saying i didn't have priveleges to install the program, and to contact system administrator. Same after reboot.

CF RC5 was completely uninstalled, folders deleted and so on. Installed RC5 again, no problems there..

I also tried updating inside RC5, but no updates were found. CF was registered with my serial key.

The update will not work from RC5, only 1.1

Not sure about the installer, that is strange...

Okay then my update "issue" is solved

I should add that i tried to install it on my carputer, wich has a nlited version of windows. But then again, Windows Installer should be the same as on any other winxp computer?
Did you add any dependencies in 1.11 compared to RC5? I guess something has to be different in the installer, i just need to find out what.

strange... the installer has no new dependencies, or it shouldn't... same VS project with a standard installer...

david, is there going to be a full install version of 1.11 or will that be for 1.12 when that's released?

1.12 is almost finished...

I'm about to start working on the OBDII bugs, but I will have 1.12 installer up on the website hopefully by the end of Sunday night.... again hopefully, but that is the goal...

I hope to start sending out a debug exe for the OBDII users tonight to help testing...

I updated to 1.11 and also found that centrafuse would hang during startup - seems to be the same internet detection problem. I am also using bluetooth GPRS, with the Widcomm stack (if that matters).

Worked great with 1.1
