Post Centrafuse Licensing

Hello.

I know this is an odd first post, but I see David is active here, and I'm sure others could help decipher the legal jargon in the License Agreement for Centrafuse.

From FluxMedia's website during the license agreement portion:

Quote:
RESTRICTIONS
Licensee agrees that it has no right whatsoever to modify the Software or any portion thereof in any manner. Licensee shall not, nor permit any third party to, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise reduce the Software to any humanly perceivable form. Licensee may not modify, adapt, translate, rent, or sublicense (including offering the Software to third parties on an applications service provider or time-sharing basis), assign, give away, loan, resell for profit, or distribute the Software, the Media, or related materials or create derivative works based upon the Software or any part thereof. Licensee may not access the Software loaded on one Electronic Device from another Electronic Device through a network or other means. Licensee may not install the Software on more than one Electronic Device. Except for one copy to be used solely for backup or disaster recovery purposes, Licensee may not copy the Software in whole or in part, or use trade secret information contained in the Software, to develop computer programs that interface or interact with the Software.

I'm not a lawyer, so I got about 1/5 of that.

My question is this:

As an example, if someone where to sell their entire system (computer, monitor, etc) to the point they would no longer use Centrafuse, can that license be transferable?

I searched for this in the faq's, here and fluxmedia's forums/faqs and could not find the answer. The quote above (to me at least) seems a little hazzy on the topic as it mentions it can not be
a) Given away (ok, what if I purchase it?)
b) Resold for a profit (would be at a loss most likely)
c) May not distribute related materials (Such as their key/registration info)

If anyone could clear this up, I would be greatful.

Thanks!

(And I can't wait to become a more involved member of the community)

what are you asking exactly, give a situation... Are you buying a PC that already has Centrafuse? Are you wanting to sell your PC, but not Centrafuse on it and get another activation? Are you wanting to sell a PC that already has Centrafuse and include it within the sell?

Hey David.
The scenario would be along the lines of purchasing a carPC setup from a wrecked vehicle, which they'll not be putting in their next car, thus not using the license they paid for. Thus the question, as I would purchase from him (not for a profit) his license if applicable. Hopefully so *shrug*.

Edit: And also the PC would be slicked, fresh OS, no install of Centrafuse

Look forward to your reply David.

Thank you.
