note that this is with the beta obdii.dll in this thread... before that i tried the dll that came with 2.0 of CF (not sure if they were the same one or not).. same result....
the log looks like it cant communicate past the device ID query....
OK I put up a sample build of the obdii.dll. Try this one and send me the log if problem persists...

no, no need for that, you can turn the logger off in settings too, it actually improves performance by about 50ms per sensor being read...
glad your up and running, I will report it to Flux to get the Flux downloadable installer updated...

With ELM 327 based modules (and possibly others too) the ATRV command returns the current voltage of the vehicles electrical system. Is there a way to get this integrated into CF's OBD plugin? It would not only be good to have to keep an eye on but to be able to set warnings for low voltage (and warnings for the rest of the sensors as well btw) and even shut the carpc down if the voltage reached a preset voltage ie. too low.

Curious...people say that the data refresh while monitoring OBD is very low. I've seen OBD flash devices that can datalog and sample at 20 or 30 times a second while doing it. Is there something wrong with this picture?

Yes it is pretty slow. 9600 bps does not get you 20 to 30 refreshes in one second. Plus there is required millisecond delay between issued OBD commands in the OBDII specification. I would say OBD gets you about 4-7 refreshes a second.

Does this support OpenPort 1.3U (tactrix) cable or only ELM compat devices?

I would love to know as well. Any plans to support the Tactrix cable?

I too would love to see support for the Openport (tactrix cable) for SSM protocol on the subi, as I've been playing with the trial version of CF, sadly this seems to be only for ELM

I've noticed in RC3 (Haven't got around to RC4) yet, that the speed now increases/decreases in unit of 2. 0,2,4,6,8,10,12 etc. Is there any reason for this?

I can't decide if I'm going to purchase CF 2.X, as I don't see much love for any further developement on the OBDII for Tactrix/SSM Support.
I guess once version 2 is release or even ver 3, there maybe someone clever enough to do one, but for now there's no love
