PowerDVD or WinDVD plugin?

Is there one available for Centrafuse? I get an error that won't go away when I hit the DVD button in my setup...
And it won't play ripped DVD data on the HDD either, so I want to go with an external app...

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I think that having to install WMP10 on a carpc isn't a great idea. Most if not all of the people in the carpc community, like to have carpc's to be as lite as possible so that they are super responsive and have quickest boot up time they can. Having to install WMP which really is bloated for what is needed in a carpc, starts to erode this.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

this just happened after the last DVD update, which made the DVD player work in both XP and Vista... I do not call WMP10, but it does install a few objects that are used... As soon as I have the time I will track down what all it installs and try to include just what is needed directly in Centrafuse...

just installing WMP10 on all the test machines has not caused any speed, performance, or boot issues... They all still load in the exact amount of time, and the app is just as responsive...

I will still look into it, not for performance as much as getting rid of a requirement...

not 100% sure either, I think I have one system where I did not have to update it, but I did have 2 others that the new DVD code did not work on until I installed WMP10...
