New iGuidance Plugin for Centrafuse 2.0 RC3

I am no longer updating this thread. Please go to the active thread over at Centrafuse:
http://forums.fluxmedia.net/plugin-d...ce-plugin.html

Centrafuse iGuidance Plugin
Description: Plugin to embed iGuidance into Centrafuse
Latest version: 1.0
Requirements: Centrafuse 2.0
Supports: iGuidance v3 and v4 (2009 not tested yet)
Current Skins: Aura, Onyx Day/Night
Current Languages: English
Where to get it: iGuidance.zip
Issues:
 • None

(08/30/08)
Thanks to everyone for their feedback and support. Since I have not received any problems with the plugin, I updated the version to 1.0. Along with this new version, are two new features that were requested (see below for details). In order to update from a previous version, you'll need to replace iGuidance.dll as well as config.xml. If you've made custom changes to the config.xml and don't want to replace that file, then you can simply add this line of code before the end:
<SHOWTOPBUTTONS>True</SHOWTOPBUTTONS>
(07/07/08)
I loved CFiG however as you probably know it doesn't work well with iGuidance v4 and is not built with the new SDK which makes it is a bit buggy. So, I took the liberty in creating my own version of it.

This plugin is completely flexible. To prevent the "dead button" issue CFiG had with iGuidance v4 when iNav changed the hotkey, I made all the buttons customizable. Meaning you can not only change the text of the button, but also the command it sends to the window. (Notice how the top buttons in the two skins are different) It currently only supports one button command (i.e. no alt, ctrl, etc) but that's something I hope to fix with a future release. Also, since nothing is hardcoded, this plugin could potentially embed any application. The ones I tested didn't work so well so I'm filing this feature as a potential future release, since all I cared about was to get Centrafuse working with iGuidance.

For all you iGuidance fans, please test this out and let me know what you think. This is the first release so I'm expecting a few bugs. Feedback is always welcomed.

---------------------------------------------------
Version 1.0: (08/30/08)
 • Fixed bug that did not reload iGuidance if accidentally closed
 • Added support to remove the top buttons, from the setup menu, to maximize window size

Version 0.2: (07/07/08)
 • Updated the Setup to use the latest SDK which fixed the button text not being updated

Any chance of getting the old skin for it too? I don't use the Auru skin and would prefer the original.

Thanks for doing this though!

Actually included in the package is both the Aura skin and Onyx Day/Night.

Awesome. I'll try it out as soon as I can get the flux guys to help me fix my activation problems.

Edit: Seems to work fine fine except the menu button doesnt go anywhere? Could be cause I reshacked the exe and got rid of the menu button?

Would this be better to use with 1.47 than the original?

In the setup menu, try changing Button 3's value (i.e. MENU) from 0x31 to 0x0D

What version of the plugin are you running? I believe this issues was fixed on v0.2. Download the plugin again and just replace iGuidance.dll, that should solve the problem.

I created a skin of my own for my Nexus skin, and I see a strange blue artifact at the top left. It is not anywhare in my skin files! I will post a picture soon.

Any way to offset the actual iG screen from within the allocated space in CF? In other words, I want the iG screen to be shifted 2 pixels up and 2 pixels left under the CF skin, so it doesn't show the white borders. I was doing this with Skinbedder until now...

You can adjust the offset position of iGuidance in the settings menu.

Thanks, I missed that. Works and looks great now.

I still have not discovered why I get this blue artifact TOP LEFT... Any ideas?

Hmm, it looks like that's part of the skin you're using since that's out of the window's bounds. You said you tried playing with the offset a bit, did that do anything to it? I would check your skin file and make sure that the blue artifact isn't part of your image.

The blue artifact is most definitely NOT in the images!
