Plugin for a DIY 4x20 or 2x20 LCD monitor?
First of all sorry for my English they aren't very well, I'm from Greece. I'd like to ask if there is any plugin, that is compatible with a monitor like that. I want to watch witch song play from centrfuse, shows equalizer graphics, monitoring system, obd info and things like that. I try to find it in that place but I didn't find something like that. Thank you.

he's using his own software .. not a CF plugin, and having seen his car in person i sure wish i could set up my character LCD the same way. CF is supposed to have built in support for any HD44780-based LCD. I'm assuming yours is not compatible with that standard? My last (yea right ) part of my rsx install is going to be a LCD, and somehow someway i will make it compatible with CF3 via built-in stuff or a plugin of my own.

Mine is a HD44780-based LCD. It's the smartie lcd monitor. I use lcd smartie v5.4.1 software and it works perfect. Does cf support those monitors? Wow I did'n know that. You mean that you can control the monitor straight from cf?

i dont think it HAS to be VDF.. but yes at this point i believe CF will only see serial screens.

They're a bit expensive....

But they have some damn nice LCD's. Most of them are even RS232 so you can plug them right into your PC, or use a USB to serial converter.
