it's based on weather.com, so if you can find your city at weather.com, then it will work with this plugin...

David, I have a request.
Could you make this plugin attempt to automatically load the weather data upon CF launch? This way everytime I turn my car ON in the garage, it would pull a new/fresh dataset via my wireless connection.
Well there is one problem... I usually resume from hibernate, so I guess you would have to find a way to detect a hibernate resume?
Just an idea... you see, most people don't have wireless on the go, but I think a lot of people can access wifi from their garage at least while their engine starts, etc...

done... my SDK provides events for internet connection status change and resume from hibernation... I attempt to refresh the weather data behind the scenes in both of these events...

How about www.accuweather.com ? forecastfox (firefox extentension) uses it and it has great coverage in outsided of USA too, best is that you can seach places like "City, Country" format, so does that data can fetched from destinator? It would be cool to know what kind of weather is in the arrival place.
and those forecasts have been quite accurate, obtw that service even supports radar images

i totally agree with accuweather its 100% better than weather.com which seems to be run by a 3rd grade science class, which changes thier mind 3 times per minute and still isnt right

accuweather may be better, but I have yet to find information on their website about a FREE WorldWide XML data feed...
I will look more into it, but for now it will be weather.com... If someone else wants to write an accuweather plugin, I'm all for it...

This weather plugin is fantastic! Thanks David.
For us from the metric world, will it be able to display temperature in Degree Celcius and all other units in Metrics? Or are you planning to make it selectable with a built-in conversion tool?
Great work!
