Yes u r right... There was a time lynx was called browser... now i guess its called "hello world" =)

Anyway i was wondering... do u plan to give up source of other plug-ins too? Or is it just this weather plug-in which is example of SDK use? Also what other plug-ins are on drawing board?

I will be including the source to the web browser and the weather plugin with the SDK... they are fully commented and should be a good frame of reference... I use labels, buttons, pictureboxes.. it will show plugin to plugin communication... the use of most of the main events... it will show how to use system dialogs and create your own custom dialogs (web favorites)... how to use listviews... and more...

My current list of plugins include:

PhoneControl, Teletype GPS, XM, OBDII, Office Manager (Outlook), RSS Reader, Picture Viewer, TV/Camera, possibly Mappoint and Destinator also...

The ones you will see for sure in upcoming releases are PhoneControl, Teletype GPS, XM, and OBDII...

Been over a month since last post... was wondering if you were plannong on releasing this plugin BEFORE v 1.5 comes around... if you weren't planning on doing it, would you re-consider? (assuming it is finished, or in beta quality)

I am *this close* to make a CF skin for CarWeb, because IE does not really integrate very nicely into CF as a touchscreen solution.

Thanks!

this will be released with 1.5... It couldn't be released before that... it's not an external application, it's a plugin... plugin support is not available in the current version of Centrafuse...

David, how are we meant to scroll up/down with this web browser? Were you planning on changing the scroll bar to something larger? or perhaps puttin some up/down arrows? By the looks of it, that is not a very touch-screen-friendly scroll bar!

In my car I have windows set to increase all scrollbars to a usuable size... I have added more buttons since that last screenshot and there isn't any room for up/down arrows without a redesign... I will look into it after I get 1.5 out and have people commenting on the plugins...

I did not realize that was possible. I tried it just now... cool! ALthough the stupid arrow looks all blocky. Strange, since it does look smooth in the 'preview' on the control panel itself. Oh well.
