Plug-in Request: Simple Notepad.

Anyone willing to work developing a simple notepad plug-in for CF? I'll provide the specs, and make all the skins.
This would be a great projects for someone wanting to learn CF plug-in API/SDK. It's as simple as it gets.

Serious takers only please.

The next release of the SDK will include another example, which should help and show how to do more... just about everything... I will be including the web plugin source code...

I have the solution

Hi, I have made it
You go to Tools -> EXT. APPS -> +
Type Notepad -> Enter -> OK
Application path: c:\Windows\notepad.exe
Window name: Type the exact name of the title when you open notepad in windows.
Audio line to control: None
Hit the Save
Hit the OK
Hit Set Actions -> Apps Button #
Find Notepad -> OK
Close
go to Apps

Best regards...

Embedding is different from making a plug-in.

What sort of design do you have in mind?

I'm just getting started with a couple of different plugin ideas, and this might be a good way for me to cut my teeth on the SDK.

Nothing fancy. Just the ability to view all the entries, in a list format (each entry has a name, much like a file name). Clicking on the entry would open up the full blown text, in large readable font, and scrollable.

Main challenge here would be text entry for new 'notes'. The OSK does not allow for RETRUN key, and was not design with extensive data entry in mind

I envisioned something like the PalmOS 'NotePad' app. Simple is better.

That's why you need a thumb pad built in to your steering wheel .
