CF 1.5 - GPS plug-in

Set up Destinator yesterday, itīs looking nice (not as nice as the TomTom im used to :-) ), but I have a few comments/features :-)

The buttons on the top (menu, visual, gps status, etc) are way to small for my fingers :-)

When pushing the GPS status button (which shows the amount of sats in the lower left corner), is it really necessary for it to take up a an entire "line" for thisn (making the map smaller)? Couldnīt you overlay the GPS status on the map just like the road-name in the lower left corner?

Could you provide an easier way to disable voice-prompts? I find this is something that is often nice to disable temporarily when passing an area you already know, or when youīre on the phone. But going to the plug-in config area is not something you would do while driving..

The favorites are not sorted alfabetically, that would be nice when the favorite database grows.

I noticed that it that it forgets to unpause the music after giving directions a sometimes.

Could you in the future make so that there is a 2nd display option for Navigation/GPS. Where all the see-only screens (MAP, directions, arrows, ETA etc) is shown on the 2nd display, and all push-buttons, menu items etc is on display 1?
Preferable with a "full-screen" button like video/visualization, when pushed it moves all the "non-pushable" stuff to the 2nd display in full-screen, but menu items stay on 1st display, and it should of course stay there if I change to Media, then I can change the music and always have the Navigational info on the 2nd monitor.

PS; shouldnīt "GPS" be renamed to "NAVI" per default in the future, sounds more logical than GPS :-) I know I can rename it myself, but itīs not a GPS application itīs an Navigation application using a GPS

There are many updates coming to the GPS plugin.... The current one was written in 3 days just to get an example going... Most everything you have mentioned is being addressed...

On the subject of the destinator plugin. LinITX sell the Pocket PC version of Destinator, but say it can be run on a Car PC (though they do not state how)

Is this the correct version of destinator to buy for use with CF, or am I better waiting until CF goes commercial and buying them both together?

PS: I KNOW youīre the one who sabotaged my PSU now that your carPC is finally working

Another thought on the GPS thing. Would it be possible to have CF update the system clock using GPS data.

My clock has lost 50 minutes in the last few weeks, which sucks.

This would be a very nice feautre. The clock on my computer also falls behind. I suspect it woudn't require much additional programming? I did a quick check in the SDK, but couldn't find any method for accessing GPS time. Is there one?
