a rar file is like a zip file. Just extract it, and copy the files to your plugin folder.

A good program for this is winrar, you can download it here:

and another general cf n00b question...what the hell is the button in the right corner for? its almost an "x" and its inbetween the advance track button and gamma button.

Stric,

I am creating a Nexus skin for your calc plugin, but I have found a small issue (bug?).

It appears that the INPUT box field has a fixed size of digits, so if I make the box smaller and the font larger, it truncates... Can you add some code in there so it knows not to truncate, and handle the scientific notation a little better?

See my screenshot and compare the resulting number in the BOX field (top) vs the INPUT field (bottom)

While you are at it, you might want to check how the BOX field works... mine is pretty tall, but it only displays a few lines... see my pic? It has plenty space above and below that I'd like to be usable. Also, truncation may occur in this BOX field too...

OK, I decided to allow for top/bottom portions to remain shown for my skin... (since it does all fit anyway).

Here is the final design. I will release this once you have the new version with the fixes...

thanks!

Hey JIT, really nice looking. I will try to do this in week or two. My exames (in school) started so I should study a lot.

OK, here is my Nexus skin for Calc. I had to re-arrange the screen again to make this work correctly.

Enjoy! (Download link below)

stric, how have you made your entry log? I have problems making the message log for my messenger plugin work properly, and was wondering if you could give me some input or source code?

What do you mean with entry log? Do you mean how do I input numer? Or are you interested in error.log?

Sorry, but english is not my native language.

stric:

I seem to be able to reproduce the bug I told you about, every single time now.

If I launch Calc, and then with the cursos click on 6 x 6 =

then what happens is that the 'x' is getting ignored, and the screen simply writes '66' as the result. Can you try it? Anyone else?
