Calc plugin

Hi,

I am working on an calc plug-in for Centrafuse.

How to install:
To use this, first download this file and extract it to CentrafuseInstalDir\Plugins. (So if you have Centrafuse installed in C:\Centafuse, than you must have C:\Centrafuse\Plugins\Calc)
Then run Centrafuse. Go to SETTINGS-->BUTTON LAYOUT and move to Global Button that is not assigned to anything and press SET. Then move to CALC and press OK -->CLOSE --> CLOSE.
Now you should see button Calc in Centrafuse's Main Menu.

To enter setup, go to SETTINGS-->CALC.

Hotkeys:
  • Numbers: 0-9
  • Basic operations: +,-,*,/
  • Percent: %
  • Square: q
  • Root: r
  • Sign: s
  • Equal: [Enter], =

Features:
  • Basic calculations
  • Percent function
  • Square and root buttons
  • History of calculations
  • Keyboard support (hotkeys)

Future releases:
I will now try to remove all bugs that will be reported. (Hopefully not much )
Maybe sometime there will be also fullscreen - "scientific" version.
I am opened to suggestions, so we will make this stable and user friendly.

If anyone makes better Oxygen WS Night skin (possibly also day version) I would be very happy.
If anyone has time and skills, I would be happy of some translations.

Thanks to justintime here is Calc's skin for his Nexus skin.

Changes:
Few minor skin changes.
Included Nexus skin.

Latest release 26.9.2006
Download here.

PS: I don't take responiblity for any damage that this could make, although it shouldn't do any

Awesome plugin - thank you!

Two small comments...
  • The interface looks a bit "stretched" (tall) at 800x600. Any possibility of scaling everything?
  • In the US, we use the decimal point "." instead of the comma ",". You can pick up the "Decimal Symbol" from a Windows call.
Carry on!

Hmm, I don't have any good skining abilities (as you can see ). I will see if I come up with anything better.
As for the Decimal symbol: would it be OK if I just allow you to press "." and "," on external keyboard and leave screen as it is?

Cool. Don't spend alot of time on it, it's not "bad", you can just tell that things are stretched. It's a small aesthetic thing.

Hmm.. Umm, I'd push back a bit and ask if you don't wanna make the API call, or if you like having the comma there for other things (??), or if your concern is that the button graphic is hardcoded and you don't wanna change the button skin? The point being that with the full keypad already there, I'd hate to have to load up the external keyboard just to hit a decimal point.

I can dig up the API call for you if you'd like... I took a quick look through MSDN online and didn't immediately see it, but MSDN doesn't have the friendliest of searches.

Is this completely independant of CF or are there other dependencies?
The reason I ask is because I want to see if it can be used as a plugin for RR!

Dunno what you're coding in, but here's the call for VB:

Dim DecimalSeparator As Char =
System.Globalization.CultureInfo.CurrentCulture.Nu mberFormat.NumberDecimalSeparator

@midiwall: Hey sorry at first I thought it is about visual symbol. Only then I understood it is about Parsing.

Well there is new version now, so you can download it again and change files.
Any comments are welcome
