I'm back from vacation, i'll look into CF1.7. I still used 1.6 on vacation and had no problems with it.

It does not embed in RC2 for me.

Maybe its something with the splash screen when you startup netstumbler.

I need to use Xport to get this to work together with my Nav software or?

Is the something better than Xport to share GPS unit?

Can you tell me the exact window title of netstumbler.

And yes, if you want to use netstumbler and your nav together you need a com splitter. I don't use Xport as it uses to much CPU and it dousn't work with the Pocket PC Emulator i use to run TomTom.
I'm using comfoolery and lantronix redirector. (TCP/IP connection).

Has there been any work to fix the RC2/RC3 window problem? I would love to use this but it opens Netstumbler in another window?

Ummm, I'm using WiFI Hopper with RC3 and haven't had an issue. I think I still have NetStumbler installed on my CarPC - I'll give it a shot.

Did this work for you under RC1? What are you using for a Window Title, and do you have the "GUI" button clicked?

Can anyone tell me if this will work alongside the CFMappoint plugin??

That would be soooooooo cool. I want to use mappoint as my navigation software but at the same time it would be great to be able to plot all the AP that I find along the way as well. Is it possible that the two programs can work at the same time?

Mappoint would not have to display the data live but it would be great if the two could work simoltaneously. That way, you could drive up to somewhere using Mapoint to plot the route and give you navigational instructions whilst netstumbler records all the AP. Once you stop, you could then add the information in to Mapoint and plot a route back via the newly found AP you have got on the way there!!

Maybe it is just me going a bit too far but do other people not think this would be an awesome additon?? Is it possible....I'm sure someone can do something with it!

Yeup, it works fine. You'll need to run Xport3 to split out the serial port so that both NetStumbler and MP can get the GPS data.

anything been done on this end?

the applications for this are awsome. i would love to see this as an official plugin for CF
1.20.

Its 90% there, dav would you be able to take over on this one? all that needs to be done is 2 things

get the GUI working in 2.0 and get the POI to save and work with destinator.

tbh i wouldn't mind paying for this plugin. (within reason)

if you want to know how the files should be saved, this is what i found out

I was thinking about making this exact plugin yesterday, and then I see this pop-up again!

This looks great.
