k i've done some testing and, like others already posted, it has something to do with the splash screen. Sometimes the splash gets embedded in the plugin and netstumbler remains visible.
In short: the code do embed NS is crap, i'm rewriting it now

indeed, that would be really really cool eh?
Now i've been thinking about that and i'll probably have to dump netstumbler as scanner and build my own. But that would be VERRY time consuming...

For now i'll stick with NS...

Fixed the embedding bug, should work fine now.
Splash screen (if any) gets detected on startup and closed when it shows up. You may see a short flicker of the splash screen.

Method for finding the main NS window has been rewritten in a faster and more controllable way.

If you still have problems with the embedding, please post a screenshot and describe whats wrong.

Yeup... That's what I run in CF, works great.

I can pull up in front of some place that I know has free WiFi (and doesn't mind lurkers) and "poof!" I'm on.

The only downside is that it's not free...

Ummm... are we talking about NetStumbler or WiFi Hopper?

And what are you thinking in terms of "work with" Destinator? Are you talking about splitting the GPS signal so that they can both see it? If so, then you're looking for Xport: http://curioustech.home.insightbb.com/xport.html

im talking about APOI (netstumbler).

APOI is used to locate wireless networks and assigns a GPS location to them, (i use XPORT for spliting the signal already)

One of the functions af APOI was to assign the GPS location to a Point Of interest in centrafuse Nav.

What i was wondering was how to get the GPS locations and turn them in POI's for destinator.

Sorry if my other post was misleading.

hm.. for me it does not work. Running CF 1.2 & update to 1.44.

I can't see the APOI plugin in the list of available plugins to assign to buttons etc..
