i was looking in the settings for it and the path is blank. i tried to specify the full .exe but it does not contain enough space. either that or it will not scroll over enough to see the last letters.
i am using umpc as well, could that be the problem?
that is exactly what mine does dave.

you need to edit the included config.xml file and change the 'FILENAME' to iguidanceUMPC if you are running UMPC.
Also add your drive letter to the 'PATH'
<APPCONFIG>
<SKIN>Onyx WS Night</SKIN>
<APPLANG>English</APPLANG>
<FULLSCREEN>false</FULLSCREEN>
<PATH>c:\Program Files\iNav\iGuidance\</PATH>
<FILENAME>iGuidanceUMPC</FILENAME>
</APPCONFIG>

dont know, good point though i have to play with it, I very rarely use the planning mode, so did not think to check that yet.

and yes you must edit the xml directly to get it to work, sorry this is a very early release just to get something out there.
I have to think on opening up the source, I probibly will, but i really enjoy my projects, and keep hoping i willl find more time soon...
will see..

also I wanted to get feedback on the embedding and the warning kill
because the older version 2.0 did not have the nowarning switch I decided to close the nag screen directly I tested it on 3 diffenrt machines but i wanted to make sure that the codes timing is right, if it is not it will fail to embed ig into cf (iguidance will open in a seperate window) if it misses the cue cloing the nag screen.

I'm running RC2.
The other glitch I noticed is that if I can't get it to start in fullscreen, I changed FULLSCREEN to 'true' with no effect.
Great plugin regardless, for an early release this rocks. Thanks alti.
