Why won't the plug in version use the saved port that the program has without the plug in?
I don't know why it doesn't work like that, but if you set it from within the plugin, it will work and retain the setting. I had the same issue.

Just so people know if you use CFiG. Set the port to something less than 10, it can't handle anything above for some odd reason. It will load it externally but not inside CF.

Any chance you can add left and right arrows for us using the UMPC version to switch through the various modes? It is a nice feature, and I hate having to bust out my keyboard to see them.
Possible?

Is there any way to make iGuidance mute the music (pause) the way destinator and mappoint do when integrated in CF?

Not the same way unfortunately as there is no sdk for iguidance that would allow this to be done from my software.
Other forum members had been working on this issue, i remember someone had increased the volume of the iguidance sound files so that they were much louder, there might have been other solutions as well, i am not sure.

I haven't tried this plugin yet because I still can't decide between destinator and iGuidance. I was leaning towards iGuidance but now I just read you can't mute it when iGuidance voice speaks.
Does this plugin at least lower the volume when it's giving you turn directions?
If not, is there any way at all to mute the voice when giving instructions?
Can't David help with it?

nothing I can do... iGuidance gives you no SDK, so you get no event or anything to tell you that the program is about to speak or give a direction...
there was a workaround at some point I believe, but not sure...

I have all the maps to Iguidance 3, but I cant get the engine to work for some reason. It doesnt work externally either. When I double click the execution file it does absolutely nothing. Any ideas?

Hey everyone. I need a little help. I installed the CFiG plugin and am using iGuidance 4. When I run iGuidance, my GPS works. When i then close iGuidance and open CF, then go to CFiG, it shows me the map but doesn't seem to work with my GPS. This only happens when I use iGuidance thru CF. Any ideas? I checked all the settings and they are all the way they should be (COM3, 4800 baud). Thanks!!
