I checked all the settings and they are all the way they should be (COM3, 4800 baud). Thanks!!
Make sure you disable the gps com port with the Navigation module. They conflict with each other.
Everyone has this problem.

I dont see that many new features in iGuidance v4. The interface and everything looks like v3. Maybe I did something wrong...but after I uninstalled v3 and installed v4, the iGuidance window doesnt integrate with Centrafuse.
Is it possible to just stick with v3 for now, but use the v4 maps? Can I just copy and paste the "iNav iGuidance" folder from d:/ (the cd) onto my C:/? v3 works just fine for me, but I could use the newer map data.

doesn't that mean I have the latest version? or is this yet another problem.

You still have a Beta, which cannot upgrade to the final non-Beta release... You must uninstall and install 1.20 on the downloads page...

here is a thought i'd like to throw out there:
During regular daily driving, i find that the non-umpc version of iguidance looks much better on the screen, even tho it may not be very easy to read the small street names. however, when i actually need to use navigation or type in addresses and like to have things nice and big, i like to use the UMPC version. is there any way we could get an option to switch between the two versions in the plugin itself. maybe in the options, have a toggle to change the exe, and iguidance will close and reopen the appropriate version. is this doable? i think itd be great!

the large button version that justintime made of the umpc version is awesome, and there is a theme file that makes the roads and stuff smaller, but i still like the ordinary version for driving around, its more elegant.... i dont think would be hard to implement, would it?

I agree, the actual MAP looks better sized in the non-UMPC version. But like others have said, I made a theme file for UMPC that makes the Map size (text, roads, details, etc) almost match that of UMPC. You also need to patch UMPC.exe with my patcher... it makes some of the icons (Restaurant, ATM, etc) smaller...
