The only other thing to come up is the window of iG that says ok and that is only up for a flash, because it automatically goes away and iG opens with working gps connection. So I dont know what is wrong

are you talking about the warning window? try adding nowarning to the command line arguments in the setup and see if that helps (instead of letting cfig close the warning window)
also what hardware are you running (cpu and ram)

I want to say, this Cfig thing is pretty sweet, thanks for all your hard work.
I have a problem not mentioned here so far,
first, while the nowarning command line works great, I get another little popup flyout thingy that has 5 buttons on it,
the speaker icon (for volume), the gps info button, the north/heading up button, gps disconnect/reconnect, and the full screen button.
this has its own little title bar, (blank) an X to close it, and it is floating over the menu buttons. is there a way to start iguidance without this stupid thing?
I hate having to close it every time I open ig.
second, I dont know what the score is, but the "MENU" button within CFIG does nothing. I click it. nothing. same for the dest button.
am I doing something wrong?

Could someone write an autoit script that launches iguidance with the nowarning param and see if the plugin still crashes iguidance...could be a work around...

what are you tring to work around? is it still not embedding with the new version? So far only one person (marshes) has reported having an issue with it with the new version. Are you having trouble as well?

I am not sure what window you are talking about here, my only guess is that it is one of the ig menus, did you do that modification to ig to try to remove the warning box that makes ig not remember any of the settings when you close it? if that is the case and you had that window open the last time it saved settings it might reopen it every time. It does not sound like it has anything to do with cfig though.

As you noted in your last post, I have version 3 running, the menu button does not work with version 2 (yet) I have been meaning to add this, but i have to find my old ig 2.0 and re-install it to test. The dest button does not work in version 2.0 either.

Alti, thanks for the response. I was using 2.1. now I have 3.0 and it looks much better. I love the new look and feel.
I still have tthe extra buttons in iguidance tho, and I hadnt made any mods to it other than the "nowarning" command line. regardless, my work around to hide those buttons was to change the Y offset and height of the app within cfig to:
Y Offset = -70
Height Offset = 89
looks great on my screen now
thanks for all your hard work

This is great work alti!! I can't wait to get this up on the site once you get all the bugs worked out...
again great work and email me if you have any questions, need any help, or need anything added to the SDK to help you finish the development of this plugin!
