Alti,
Now that I'm in the right subforum...
When I open IGuidance 3 in Cf through the new plugin, it must not be registering my GPS module, because the arrow representing my car does not turn green, and the location does not update.
However, when I open iGuidance standalone from my desktop, no problems at all. It finds me and my GPS module right away.
Can you help me with this?

I have not been able to recreate any of the problems that some of you are having above, maybe there is a common denominator that i have not been able to test against. maybe a certain gps receiver, maybe hardware (via chips, ect), but i am pretty sure that there are some using it successfully on via's (like HypeTaxx above)
The newest version is up on flux's site on the downloads page as a installer, please make sure that you are using the most current verison

This plugin looks awesome.
But when I am at home and the gps is not connected to the UMPC I get a gps not found error from iGuidance. The error is a popup box and it launches iguidance outside of centrafuse. Is that expected behavior?

Wow this plugin is just trucking along.. I still would rather embed it into CF because...
1) When IG hacked with the Nexus skin it matches perfectly.
2) The buttons take up way to much of the screen (Top track + Bottom track control + IG quick buttons + the date bar?)
Does the app that auto switches on turn work with this plugin? Is it built in?
Hmm.. I just bought a VFD from ebay that works like a champ. I wonder if in the future / possible to have an option that if you have VFD enable u can disable the top bar that displays the track title and such to give you more screen.

First of all, great plugin, I can really appreciate when someone does this much work and then shares it with everyone out there. The plugin works great, the one problem that I am having is that if iGuidance opens, (and stays open when I exit Nav screen), the DVD player (in Centrafyse) starts misbehaving. Sometimes the audio starts, but screen gets stuck on main screen, it never shows video, other times it will go to the DVD screen but the touchscreen / mouseclicks become inactive, so basically you're stuck there. I can then only eject the DVD from the drive manually, and upon doing so the buffered up screen touches start getting processed. Anyone ever had a problem with this? Maybe not even a problem with CFiG, but with DirectX or Centrafuse...
By the way I am using DVD decoder from InterVideo (WinDVD).
Thanks to any replies in advance...

this only happens after loading ig with cfig?
I honestly can't imagine any reason cfig would cause this, maybe the added burdon of running nav with a dvd is to much for your processor?

Great job! Much easier than using SKINBedder like I was. Definitely less setup work.
Now, two feature questions to see if it'd be possible..
1. Can it be setup so you can choose if CFiG will start fullscreen? I could do that when I added iGuidance as an app, so when CF starts it will start CFiG and automatically maximize the plugin?
2. This is as much a question for David as anyone..will it be possible to output the speed reported in iNav out to the VFD? I realize CFiG probably isn't really 'interfacing' with iGuidance, but worth asking anyway..

Good point, I'll try later today launching IG standalone and see if it causes the same issue... Thanks...

Hello, done some more testing, nothing to do with IG, sorry about that, next time I'll get my facts straight before posting (noob mistake).

this can be done, will try to get it in soon, but no promises on time

As far as I am aware as far as iG goes this can only be done using a OSR algorythim to read the speed right off the screen and then you could likely pass the value through davids api to cf (I have not looked at this part of the api since i do not use destinator currently, so i am guessing here)
however to be honest i am not looking at investing the time needed to do so, I have been working on other projects. If anyone wants to grow this app, let me know.

I upgraded to the newest centrafuse version and now iguidance says gps not found when I launch it through centrafuse. When i launch iguidiance outside of centrafuse it works normally. Any ideas?
