[request] One-button dir sync.

Just started using CF. Have used RR until now. Must say, CF is awesome

Any who, got a mediacenter at home, and would like to sync my music between mediacenter and carpc. Everything is hook up to wireless, and when I park my car, it's within my wifi signal.

Basicly a simple "push-one-button-to-sync-media-directory-over-wireless"

Anybody done this?

shouldn't be that hard of a plugin to right, or if you have a bat file or external application you can call you could add a button that way...

Look at SyncToy

This is outside of CF, but you can Sch it to sync and it will sync up when it finds your home PC. You could also embed it into CF and have a button to push.

No one has written anything yet for it, but I do think it has a cmd line interface also.

Anyone willing to help those of us that cant code to save there life? I've written my batch file that synchs perfect.. All i need is a button in Centrafuse to run it.

make a non embedding external application that calls the batch file... All you do is leave the window name blank and it will just call the batch file and run it...

if you name the external application Sync, then you can also place a file Sync.png in the icons folder for the Day and Night skin and you will get an icon as well...

Simply go to settings and hit the "+" sign... no coding required...
