Database

I know this is a bit off topic, but I am begginer and I see quite a few great programers out here so I will ask here.
What would be the best database for CF plugin? Would .XML file be any good? What does CF use?

XML or Access database are both self contained... SQL Lite is possible, but requires a little more and is probably overkill for what you are doing...

So Access database doesn't require any server or something? Hmm, than I will look into Access. I think it will be easyer to operate than XML.

doesn't require anything and easy to query with most all programming languages, if not all...

Look out for ADO.NET samples. All you have to change is the Connection-String and the Database provider contained. VS is able to compose the connection string.
