But i think you should have a 1.3 PhoCo skin still, the new 1.4 will be a paid version so not all will want to jump in right away.
Hmmm.... an eye opener. As you are mentioning version numbers in "PhoneControl", I'm gathering you're referring to a 3rd party app. Before, I thought you were just talking about the "phone" screens in CF.
I don't have any phone capabilities yet, so even building/testing CF's phone screens is difficult for me. Can you elaborate for me what PhoneControl is and to what extent it integrates (or doesn't) with CF?

Basically, Centrafuse only integrates PhoneControl for its phone capabilities. Its a whole different application as you will see in centrafuse's settings window, you will have to point to your installation of PhoneControl to make it work among other things. Like the GPS software.
You should really try the phone features, its cool
I'll try to look at the xml for the phone screens later and see if i can fix it

Should get a selection of skin if your paying for phoco - but its still integrated into CF which is free so........ prob gonna be
CFa
and
CFb
CF with different versions of Phoco paid and unpaid - unless David only puts PhoCo 1.4 into the CF versions that he's charging for, his price will include price of PhoCo. Hope its not that way though as got free key for PhoCo!!1

Just download the file from here. Then replace the main_empty.jpg file in the skins folder with the one from this .zip file corresponding to the car logo you want.
So far I have included Audi, Chevy, Corvette, Ford, Infiniti and Mazda.
Do you think you could make a toyota logo?
Thanks
Joe

Easy... cuz it's already done. :-) See post #99.

Sorry, guys. This week has been killer and I haven't been able to work much on things. I planned to get BrushedAluminum out tonight, but the files I need are on my laptop at work (which I forgot to bring home tonight). I'll go in and grab the laptop in the morning so I can finish it up tomorrow and have it out by Sunday morning.
Thanks for your patience.

I did some research into PhoneControl. Looks wicked cool! I'll see if I can upgrade my CDMA phone to one with Bluetooth and give it a shot. As for the skin though, looks like Feb already did a BrushedMetal skin for PhoCo. I haven't looked at it in detail, but since most of my graphics are his, his BM skin might work for you.

Meta,
I'm surprised no one has asked for a HONDA logo yet, espacially since a big percentage of car enthusiasts possess them. SO, I guess i'll be the first: Can we please get a honda logo?
thanks.

i had the same problem with the logos being currupt. also i dont know if this is just me or a problem with the skin, but in video section, the date and time overlaps the name of the video file being played except for first few letters.
For example, if i am watching an episode of Joey called "joey and the Party" anything after the "The" gets overlapped by the date and time.
just an observation, maybe it was done intentionally to get the maximum viewing screen in. If i knew how to take a screen shot id post it but i dont know how.

Hey, guys. I apologize, but I've been on haitus for a few weeks on work-travel. I'll have the Toyota and Honda logos for Burshed Metal out next week, and will look into the .zip file corruption. I changed to a new web-host, and maybe something got messed up in the file transfer. I'll also take a more detailed look at all the screens and tidy-up the .XML.
As I've been using both skins myself quite a lot lately, I've noticed a lot of things about them I don't like or are messed up. The lack of ability to see either skin when wearing sunglasses is a pain in the butt. Anyone know of good color schemes/contrasts that work well while wearing shades?
