id like to see a dark blue, similiar to the blue that the pioneer uses on their cd players. ill see if i dig up a link that has the blue im talking about.

Nice job btw on the skin, looks good. cant wait for the 840x480 version

The .psd files for the black&white 848x480 version are located here. The file is a little over 9 mb.

It's only the main, music, musicmanager, video, videomanager and dvd screens, but you can use these to tweak, finish the additional screens or change backgrounds. Enjoy.

Here we go...

Brushed Metal Stretched 800x600 Black & White

Brushed Metal 848x480 Black & White

Brushed Metal 848x480 Red "down" files

Brushed Metal 848x480 Blue "down" files

Note that the RED and BLUE versions only contain the "down" files. You'll first need to download the "Black & White" version, then copy the "down" files into your skin folder.

Everything is done except the PHONE and DIALOG pages.

Lemme know what you think.

Hmm Nice skin. I always liked the skin for mediacar. and now for CF. Like it.

I tried to get the stretched version, but I got the same corrupt file problem. The blue version was also corrupt. I did manage to get the basic version to download though.

I re-uploaded the Stretched 800x600 and Blue 848x480, and this time verified the uploaded ZIP file sizes were the same as I have locally. I'm uploading Red 848x480 now. Hopefully it works better this time around. I'll test downloading them myself tomorrow from the office.

Which part of the 800x600 are you looking for? Everything is done except the PHONE and DIALOG screens. I do need to tweak the skin.xml because what I did originally doesn't work for the "color" versions. I'll have it fixed by the weekend, and hopefully release the color versions.

As for the PHONE screens, I can do the graphics, but as I don't have a phone that works with CF, I can't build and test the skin.xml portion for it. Anyone else is more than welcome to take this on.

As for the DIALOG screens, since you don't see them much, I'm tempted to just "gray scale" the defaults and leave them as is.

I doubt they'll work. I'll have to rework the car logos to fit. Which car logo are you looking for, and I'll make that one first? You just want a JPG to paste onto the main screen, right?
