Photoshop, select only the logo in your downloaded logo.jpg or whatever its called the paste it into a new file with transparent background. Use layer blending options to add shadows/effects etc. Or filters to change appearance... Then save as logo.PNG file in your skin directory.

Attached pics:
1 - your orignial image - looks squished
2 - your 4:3 image - thinned out
3 - my cropped 520x210 image - Looks pretty good, I may play around with the dimensions a little more to get it exactly right
Thanks for the originals
Hmmm... 520x210 is 52:21 or 2.48. 4:3 is 1.33. That is a big difference.
Glad you found the size that works though.
Is anyone else having problems with a squished image?

I get the logo from here, and take it into Photoshop.
I use the magic wand tool to select the white area around it, and then press delete. Then, I just add a few layer styles to it. Finally, File > "Save For Web" > "PNG 24".

Clear CD Case
...also: Here's what I use for AudioArt.png. It is ripped and re-sized from a Meedio icon. You should change the color of the bar on top to the color of your skin (I tried to make it transparent but it didn't work. I didn't try to change the pixel size because I didn't want to have to edit the skin.xml as well).
