Thanks JIT lol
I will have to look in to using an installer for:
1) SbV3 P3
2) iG3-Nexus
3) GE-Nexus / GooPs
4) TMO-Nexus (my DataLogger for OBD1)
5) A Nexus.htm page for my LA traffic.
That makes 8 apps total plus Media/DVD/Mixer/Settings/Tools/Explorer/Girder for me. I still need 3 more icons to fill my main-menu screens

I have just discovered the Freedom skin for RR. I'm not sure I will be sticking with CF/Nexus anymore. It's funny that it looks like CF, but I love it for the functionality/stability, not just the graphics. You should really check it out JIT. The best would be Nexus for RR that worked as well as this Freedom skin. Do you know flash?

I might be porting Nexus to RR sometime. It will not look the same, but I would use the same coloring scheme, buttons design, background etc.
I don't like that Freedom skin too much... its not very clean in my opinion. But Im too picky.

Have you used it though? It just works. All embeds (including MilkDrop) look perfect with no flashing or anything. All sliders move smoothly. All screen transitions work well. There are cool transparency pop-up/text-over effects. I cannot say any of that about most RR skins. Plus it doesn't crash and I haven't found any little quirky bugs (can't say that about CF). I'm in love with it layout/functionality wise. A Nexus look would be better though (or a Traffic look, or a MMI look).

Any chance we can get an update to this awesome skin for RC3 real soon? I just can't stand using the stock skin after using Nexus!

jhason999: I already have it updated for RC3. Need to build an installer and include the skins for all the 3rd party plugins, which are also ready. I will release it Saturday.

Updated for RC4 compatbility
Updated skin to version 1.03. Please redownload. Installing will automatically replace old version.
-This version adds compatibility with Centrafuse v 0.97.1 RC4.
-Also made minor changes to header to make text more readable (whiter letters, where before had grey).

I use a program called ExamXML. It has a 30 day trial. Google it.
It will let you compare 2 XML files, and the neat thing is, you can have it ignore CONTENTS of the tags... so it just compares the STRUCTURE of the XMLs, and will tell you where there are differences. It's neat, but not perfect. (XML merging is lackluster)
Hope this helps.

Anychance you are going to add the media mod to the installer? I think its much better the way he moved those few buttons.

It's a matter of preference. I moved them around for good reason. I did not want the 'remove' button in my way (dangerous). I also wanted the UP/DOWN arrows on the right bottom side, where they ALL are in all other screens!

What did you use to make the skin? I can't get the skin editor to open a skin XML file - it just crashes.

I used Photoshop for the PNGs, and a freeware XML editor for the XML files (XML Marker)
