yeah, first I did it with the installer, but the directory was wrong, then i manually moved it... I guess if the directory is right now there should be no issues...
that installer is so friggin cool, how'd you do that?... awsome... I'd love to have an installer like that when I finish my skin...
You have accomplished the OEM look with your skin no doubt about it. But the lack of volume controls within the skin do not make it efficient enough even though this is a great skin. Any plans on modifying this?
JIT: I have been using this skin in the car. It is totally awesome! Great job. I didn't even realize it didn't have volume since my volume is controlled by my Pioneer head-unit, not the CarPC. Unfortunately RC1 has been very unstable for me both on the desktop and in the car. I get constant crashes, lockups, sluggishness, failed embeds, failed skin layering after closing an embed, etc. Am I the only one with this problem (on 4 separate machines)? I'm still hoping to have an RR skin that meets my needs soon so I can be done with CF. I'll miss this skin though

I don't plan to add volume buttons. But you can alter the skin file and add them if you wish. It's not that hard (but I've had enough of it!)
Hey RPM, thanks for the compliments. Let's hope CF gets more stable so we can stick with the skin. I would hate to have to port it over!

how's this? doesn't work for dvd or video, just the main menu controls. extract the files to your Nexus skin directory. i would make backups first just so you don't have to reinstall the skin.

Thanks Piyaca. It looks excellent. Not everyone (well not me) have a head unit or a griffin installed on the car to control the volume. Once again thanks for the fix. This skin is great, very polished and professional.
Updated skin to version Beta 2. Please redownload. Installing will automatically replace old version.
-Fixed label overlaps and truncation in Media player header when filecount is large.
-Some minor fixes to labels and font size.
-Made IE Browser Plugin fullscreen larger (eliminated URL field).
-Installer now installs the necessary Fonts in th system folder.
Thanks for the updates to the skin. Once again very professional and OEM looking
You had been asking for this skin for a few months. I knew you'd be surprised to see it released. Tell me how you like it after using it, and how it could be inproved please.
By the way, are people finding that the contrast is good enough in day time?
First, you are right; I was surprised to see the front-end skin released after you mentioned that you would not continue with the project. What I like from the application is that the looks of it are very OEM, which can be implemented in any car and will complement the car's interior and appearance. The only thing I did not like was the lack of volume control within the front end but piyaca made a temporary fix for it. The combination of colors, fonts, and functionality is in par with automotive OEM systems (I had spent a month testing, and comparing OEM in-car entertainment systems as part of a college project) Since I do not have adobe Photoshop I am very limited to do things I will like to see (Like a watermark in the background with the car logo) but in my opinion you have taken the front end skinning bar way up there. I had always being searching for an OEM looking front end, not too flashy but not to bland either. You provided the skin I was searching for. Keep up the good work! I will PM you with additional details.
