How do Skin FONTS get installed?

David,

I have created my new skin, and put the 2 font files in the 'fonts' folder of the skin.

I was kind of expecting these files to be copied to the system fonts folder automatically upon launching CF, but that was not the case in my tests.

Whane/how do the fonts get installed?

you could probably just set your installer to put the fonts in the windows default font folder

I could, but not all versions of Windows use the same path.

My fonts actually install with the MSI... I don't have a method for installing fonts except for building an installer for your skin, most installers will have an add font feature that will detect the version in windows...

The reason for the Fonts folder is just to have a backup really or if you distribute with a zip file you have to tell people to drag them into the fonts folder...

well, it will always be [windows directory]\fonts.. so.. you could use the %windir% variable to specify the windows directory, i.e. %windir%\fonts
