Damnit, I was trying to mount my head unit in my custom brackets and I scratched the faceplate pretty bad with a putty knife. So does anyone have, or know where I could get a Pioneer DEH-P7200 replacement faceplate? Or know how I could take the scratch out?
yeah i used to polish scratches out of cd's when i was in plastics shop when i was in school with meguirs i think #20 polish and a buffing wheel go to a automotive paint store or a place that does alot of work with acrylic plastic and they can prolly give you a bit more guidance
<basically any very fine grit meguirs polish should wok but double check>
maybe try the meguirs website
Well you know what this mean...Yep it's for sale now. I'll include the damaged faceplate for anyone who wants it, otherwise it will come with everything else including manuals. I'll say $50 for the thing plus shipping. It works perfectly. It's a Pioneer DEH-P7200 unit. I paid about $190 for it a year ago. If Mastero can hook you up with a faceplate you could have one hell of a deal

DAYAMN... I think I'll try Mr. Dremel and his girlfriend Buffy first. Then I might try some acrylic repair second, then maybe I'll go to Pioneer... but $90 is pretty hefty.
