FS: 15' feet of 80 wire IDE cable. Great for DVD-ROM's.
I have about five 15 foot 80 wire IDE cables for sale.
Connectors and all preconnected.
$25.00 + shipping for 1 cable.
This is the cable I use for my Slot Load DVD-ROM.
Let me know if your interested.

the connector is the 40 pin ide connector on each end of the cable.
not the adapter that you will need for a laptop or slimline cdrom drive!!!

You will need to buy the converter to use a laptop drive. This is a standard IDE connector.
BTW Mp3Z, hows your DennisK screen? Mines still running.

Does your DVD ROM work with 15 feet of IDE cable? I was told they wouldn't. If so I'll take one.
BTW... what kind of DVD ROM is it... tell me it's a pioneer... please!

It's been in my car for 1 year now, and works perfect.
I have the Pioneer SLot Load DVD-ROM I took out from my homePC and mounted it vertically in my center console.
AHHAHAHAHAH, they told me it wouldn't work also. I proved them all wrong.
Do a search for my older thread about running a 15 foot IDE.
Maybe I will buy the SONY DUA500 DVD Burner and burn movies out of my car and sell them to people. lol j/k

Any chance you could make one about half that length... maybe 8-10 feet?
