WTB 10.4" LCD w/ controller and inverter

I need a 10.4" LCD for retrofit on an older portable PC. It originally has liquid plasma which hurts the eyes. I can only use 640x480x16, so pretty much anything that will fit will work. I have about an inch of extra mounting space around the display area and about 1.5"of depth in the enclosure. I'm not sure what the voltage supply is yet. it must have built-in or small controller to accept VGA input, as there is not any usable space outside the display housing.

I am hoping to spend less than $150, but hoping never gets me anywhere...

** edit **
Brightness is not much of an issue, 100 nits+ would be preferable

heh good luck. I payed 150 for my first initial screen. Once all said and done, and working I spent over 500 dollars.

Thats why you gotta do it right the first time, so you dont do it twice.

Just to clarify, any working combo will suit me there is ample space for the panel, and I can make room for the controller. So there will be no need to do it more than once.

I have just the thing for youand ill let it go for $150. I bought it here a while ago and now im getting a brighter screen.

1x 10.4" Goldstar (LCA4E02A) 640x480 LCD

1x Backlight Inverter Wired for LCD

1x Monitor Male Connector Wired for Controller Card

1x Datalux 640x480 LCD controller (These were sold in the forums back about 2 yrs ago)

1x 10.4" Cybertouch Analog Resistive Touchscreen Layover

1x PS2 Ezscreen Analog Touchscreen Controller

1x Monitor Extention to go from controller to PC

The touch screen is very quirky, but it seems you dont need that. Its all working, so if you want it, just say the word.
