Yes, it holds four CDs. This thing is really cool. It's perfect for audio CDs. It has a door that flips down (automatically) and exposes a slot. I don't know how fast it is but I think it's 4x, maybe 8x. I think I had it playing mp3s from a CD at one point.

These things are just like the little button-nub things that act as a mouse on IBM laptops. The board is easily removed from the rubber mouse stick part leaving an inch square area that can be embedded anywhere and used to control the mouse. There are also left and right click buttons on either side of the mouse stick.
