You could get any USB adapter with a pigtail.

Thats the exact set up i am running and it works great and netstumbler recognizes it as well. No external power needed to the usb wifi adaptor either.

So which Buffalo Model is it? I dont have to mod it or nothing? i can hook up an external antenna to it? Can you be more specific please. If you dont have time I'll understand. Thank you in advance.
