FS: NIB Brand new Philips DVP-642 DVD player plays DivX and MPEG-4!

As the title says, this is a philips DVD player which play's DVDs as well as DivX 3.x, 4.x and 5.x files. It also plays Mpeg-4 and VCS/SVCD/Picture CD/Mp3. I bought it a while ago, never opened it, then decided i was going to build an HTPC, so i dont need it anymore. But its pretty neat that you can play DivX's on a set top DVD player!

Check out attached pics to see the actual box (it says that it plays divx on the box!).

Here is a retail link (CompUSA), where it sells for $70 plus shipping. I am offering the BRAND NEW unit, so I am looking for, say, $60 shipped, OBO? PM me with questions/offers. Paypal only please.

just want to say i own this same exact model, it is pretty impressive.
firmware upgrades are REALLY easy.
and it plays all divx, xvid and everything else

My buddy just got one of these - he said that all you have to do to get rid of the region code is to hit 7-8-9 and then the region you want the DVD player to be. So you can watch any DVDs on it too!

Man i wish i had a use for this, but my 'puter can play anything and it is my TV too ;(
