The LCD is a LQ10D131. I don't know who made the vga to tft contorller . ( marking on the pcb "neo-100, 203795 03 1011, p/n: 103794" all i know is this is not "allens tft contorller" cos i have one of them.. : )
(i don't see the need to find out the make of the contorller.. i mean the pin out of the LCD is know .. so .. pin out of contorller is "same", really easy to trace)

oh .. one more thing .. This setup come as a package with every thing installed when i got it, It is not some thing i put toghter. i just take it apart for pics..

Couple of questions - how bright is this screen (usable in sunlight)? What are the outline dimensions of the case? Finally, when you say a VGA cable is required, is this just a 15pin M to F? I am definately interested, so please let me know.

Thanks,
Mike.

Mtmsol.. i don't think it will look good in Direct Sunlight, your TV don't look good in Direct Sunlight !!. It does work very well during day time in the open.. If it is going in a Car .. i am sure it will look great. these LCD was designed for industrial usage. very burable.. oh .. I used rand mcnally gps with Streetfinder 2000 it looks great ! .. full dimensions are 9.25" x 7" with out case . 12 x 9 with case. YES it will work with out the case .. I would use it with out the case anyway ..

oh yeha.. Vga cable , Just a 15pin M to F..

here is the pdf for theLCD

Thanks for the info, Toto3. I took some measurements in my car, and unfortunately there's nowhere I would be able to fit ths screen. Looks like I'm going to have to settle for NTSC
