I am going to be selling my car in a few weeks and will be saving for a mazda miata, I plan on buying it with 100% my own money so I need to start saving. I will not have a car for a few months while I am saving, so I am going to sell all my car stereo parts. More on the subwoofer, it’s a JL 12 inch w7 sub version 3, better known as 12w7v3. Its one of the best subs ever made, and the best sub ever made from a major company for the consumer. I have been in car audio for many years and will be pursuing into owning my own shop in a few years, just to show I don’t fool around with car audio. This sub has more patents than any other piece of car audio I have owned and truly a work of art, its quality is unmatched and its performance is unheard-of, get it, lol.
On a more serious note, this sub is a few months old. It was purchased from a car audio shop in Sacramento, California which is a JL authorized dealer. They built the box for me by JL standards at 1.375 cuft sealed. I choose sealed because this sub hits around 143db on a TL sealed which is more than enough so I dident need that extra bass from a ported box. It is also a clean sub that delivers nothing but smooth punchy bass but keeps up with the “lows” on the larger diameter subs. Basically it will satisfy all your music types and needs. The sub is installed in a 95 Mercedes c220 and has never left its spot. I don’t use the trunk at all and the sub never had contact with outside objects that could damage it.
The box is built to JL specs of 1.375cuft for a sealed box. Its 1” mdf all around, which is more than needed but used for extra bracing. The power wire is Kunkoncepts 8g wire for each positive and negative. The box is carpeted with black and grey carpet in a 2 tone scheme, to match the trunk and sub. The box is in perfect shape and 12 JL screws are used to hold the sub down.
As you can see in the picture, the sub is in perfect condition. Everything from the magnet to the cone is pristine and never damage, dented, abused, anything of that nature. The voice coil and spider are also in perfect shape. I take care of my stuff and make sure its treated better than I am, hehe. Sadly its true.
The sub takes 1000wrms, but many have given it more and the sub will take it. Me on the other hand fed the sub ~800-900wrms at 3ohms from a US Amps de-1000, one of the best monoblock amps on the market and hand made in the US. JL makes very efficient subs so even 500wrms would make this sub wang.

I have sold many items on several forums, eBay, paypal verified, and have excellent feedback, all are positive and I treat my customers well. Item can be shipped or picked up local, I have no problem with either. If shipped, I will make sure to box it more than a few times and pack it well, I never seem to have a problem with packing well. I also have many other pictures of the sub, and can take more. It’s currently sitting in my room waiting to be sold, and kept in a sealed box for protection. I need to save for my car so I am
asking $399 for the sub and box plus shipping. I guarantee this item to work flawlessly and not DOA.
