I bought this lilliput from another member here. It worked perfectly. It has a new touch screen kit from http://www.digitalww.com/7TSK.htm . When i went to mount it on my truck, the usb cable from the lilliput didnt reach to my carputer so I spliced the usb plug to connect and extension, then it didnt work. So then I bought brand new VGA/USb cable from digitalww, soldered everything , the vga worked but usb touchscreen still didnt work. So then I checked again and saw that a small component (Zener) on the usb board controller on the lilliput was burned. I tried soldering and still no go. Then, i had another problem, I ripped the ribbon cable from the motherboard of the lilliput. It ripped with the small part from where it inserts.

The touch screen kit alone is $100 on digitalww. This is probably an easy fix if you know how to solder.

This comes complete with housing ,touch screen ,brand new vga/usb cable,new remote, everthing.

Asking about 170 OBO shipped.

yea the touch kit works if you have another controller.

well the part where the ribbon cable goes inserted is ripped off the "motherboard". if you have good soldering skills you can fix it.

but it doesnt work as it sounds like you messed up the USB splice and either blew the poswer supply to the TS controller or damaged the controller.

EDIT: i mean dmaaged the TS controller. you have definitely knackered the lilliput controller if you burnt a zener and ripped the connector off!

I just burned somthing out on on my Lilliput while working on a backlight upgrade. likely the LCD controller board. I could probably get one working out of the 2, my touch screen is good. Would you consider $100.
