FS: Inspiron 8000 Laptop, DVD, 20GB, 256MB, 800Mhz, Docking Station, carrying case

Dell Inspiron 8000 Notebook computer. It is an 800Mhz PIII processor, has an optical DVD drive, 20gb hard drive, 14.1" screen in decent shape, 256MB ram, a floppy drive, a battery that holds a charge, an 802.11b wifi card (PCMCIA). This is a model with two front modular bays, so you can add a second DVD drive, battery, etc if you want. The bays currently hold a battery and floppy drive).
Also included are the charger, its docking station (which I have once attached PWOn piggytails to with my mnimal soldering ability, so it can be done. With the docking station the laptop has ethernet connectivity. You will also get the authentic Dell Carrying Case for this laptop.
This laptop was used, but lightly. I only took it to class with me for one semester, other than that it lived primarily on my desk. It is a good laptop and would make a great carputer (throw an external HD on there and stick it in the docking station in the trunk! You can even use the hibernate on loss of AC power as a shutdown controller. They sell the DC-DC psu's at RatShack for cheap.)
Operating System: It came with Win2K, so if you are a stickler for all things proper I will reinstall 2K. Recently I upgraded it to XP using a copy of my desktop software. I would be happy to leave that for you, but you should know that you are not technically buying the rights to it yada yada yada...
If nobody wants it here, I will post it on ebay, but i would rather sell it to someone here in the community. Post or PM if you want pix, I have some somewhere but I wanted to get it listed sooner rather than later. I will be shipping it in an OEM Dell Laptop box (from my new laptop).
