I am selling a used Sony Auxiliary Audio Switcher for Sony Aftermarket Head Units. I used this for a couple months for my carpc but i ended up selling my car so i no longer need this adapter. The PIE SON-AUX is a dual application device that allows you to connect both a Sony Uni-Link CD changer or any Sony Uni-Link device, and any auxiliary audio device to your after-market Sony Uni-Link headunit. Now you can have an auxiliary input for your iPod, portible MP3 player, DVD player audio, any auxiliary audio device AND keep your Sony CD changer too! The SON-AUX has unique current-sensing circuitry that automatically switches from CD changer mode to auxiliary input mode, interrupting the audio from the CD changer, as soon as it senses an audio signal present at the RCA inputs of the device. The CD changer audio will reconnect automatically 10 seconds after the auxiliary audio source is turned off. There must be a functioning Sony CD changer installed for the SON-AUX to work.
