FS: Modded Bluetooth GPS Receiver

I got this a long time ago (originally for an iPaq) and have sparsely used it. When I put my carputer together I modified the included car charger to directly connect to a +/- source and lengthened the wire.

I also disconnected the internal battery of the unit so I wouldn't kill it with the constant start stop of the car. So, if connected to your acc line, the gps will automatically come on, and stay on, until you turn off your car. The battery can be reconnected very easily by opening the unit and reconnecting its internal connector.

You will receive the modified bluetooth GPS unit, the modified car charger and (only if I could find it) an older version and derivative of iGuidance (if I remember correctly, it's a few years old so dont expect anything great).

The unit works flawlessly and I originally purchased it for $200. It is branded CoPilot, but it is a generic version of the emtac bluetooth gps units.

Price: $65 shipped (via USPS 1st class/parcel post untracked mail to continental US). If you want UPS ground, add $5.

- I ONLY accept Paypal Bank Account (NON CREDIT CARD) payments.
- I ONLY ship to confirmed/verified Paypal addresses
- First one to send paypal payment to redweebler@gmail.com gets the unit.

It is a Bluetooth GPS Receiver. Some GPS receivers connect to your PC via serial cable. Well, this receiver will allow the user to place the unit anywhere in the car and it will communicate with the PC via bluetooth. The modification I made was to the charger and the unit itself. I disconnected the battery so that the unit would turn on and off with the car and would not run on batteries.
