If all I need is the subscription to XM after buying the XM Direct unit, antenna and the serial cable I'll yake them and could met up with you somewhere here in ATL if you wanted.
If the the serial-USB cable adapter will work with this I'll take it for another $10 cause you can get one on ebay for that.

I've just found out that the XMD unit will work with my new planned system, so I'll be keeping it. Sorry for the change. The XMD serial control cable, however, is still for sale. I did have this working via the usb-serial adapter.
