The Powerbook has one chipped key, the "-/ _" key has a small chip on its left side. The computer was purchased from Apple in July 2004. It does not have AppleCare, but the warranty can be purchased from apple.com at any time.

The backpack sells for $69.99 through Kensington, but comes with this computer for no additional charge. It comes with a lifetime warranty, through Kensington. The SnugFit sleeve suspends and protects the computer.
