Hello everybody. I am selling my laptop because I am looking for a tablet instead. If you are willing to give me your tablet PC for my laptop and a few hundred bucks, let me know!
I have good number of posts, so I am to be trusted.

Also I have 100% positive feedback on ebay. My ebay id is: goj-145:

Price and why:
I think I want to let it go for around
$550 obo. EDITTED, LOWER PRICE!
Last October right before halloween I bought this off of NewEgg.com new for roughly $1000 plus an extra $80 for the extra stick of 512Mb RAM. Also this laptop is Running Vista Beta, and will come with a backup copy for you, as well as the orignal XP restore disks that work with the serial number on the bottom of the computer.
æsthetics:
Keep in mind this is a used laptop, so of course it has a bit of wear. It shows some signs of wear. The front cover has some scratches. And on the inside where your wrists lay when you type, the paint has come off as well as right above the touchpad. Also 2 of the 6 rubber feet on the bottom have come off (as they do!) but they are on opposite corners so it doesn't shake or anything. The AC adapter is included and works perfectly, although the wire has started to come loose from the brick's housing. Still works like the day I bought it, just isn't aestically perfect!
What's New:
It has a brand new DVD-CD/RW drive because the stock one malfunctioned (CD laser died

) so this is a new one as of about 2 months ago. Cost about $190 from Acer just for that drive.
The awesome!:
The battery holds a full charge, and with Vista's "High Performance" setting, the battery lasts just over 1.5hours. That is with wifi on and screen brightness all the way up. Takes about 3hours to fully charge again if you are using it.
Everything works perfectly. The screen is still very rigid and does not wobble at all! The latch is still perfectly intact and closes and opens easily with the slide of your finger!
To the specifics:
It has a 2.8Ghz Celeron D powering the thing. Now this is actually prety powerful. I haven't overclocked it or anything and it runs smooth. I can play all my games, use Adobe Photoshop CS2 on it, Render video with Adobe Premiere, all with WMP11 in the background playing a movie and a couple of FireFox windows open! I was very surprised.
Download the movie I made found here:
http://www.box.net/public/40u1l1n0kt
It shows me opening the start menu, FireFox, gadgets dynamically resizing, and pretty much just a video showing how smooth the operation is with this computer. Hate to see it go, but like I said, I would like a touchscreen!
It came with 256Mb of RAM, and I purchased a 512Mb stick at the time of purchase because I am a "more RAM the better believer"! I have 4Gb in my home PC!
It has a dedicated video card I believe. Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP. 64Mb for that card, and then you can allot more memory from RAM to it. So basically a hybrid dedicated card. Can use a 64Mb dedicated or a 64 and up to 128Mb (i think) hybrid card.
Built in WiFi with a hardware switch to turn it off to save even more battery power.
PCMCIA slot.
4 USB 2.0 ports.
1 of those laptop lock ports. THe kind where you by the bike lock looking thing and hook it around something. I have never used one, but it is there. Good for securing it to your Car!

IRDA port (InfraRed)
56k modem jack
Etherenet jack
Video out through VGA jack.
Operating System: Windows Vista Ultimate:
This laptop is currently running Windows' latest operating system Vista Ultimate. The capabilities of this machine are endless! Ultimate is the most resource hungry version of he new OS, and it runs smoothly. The gadgets all work seamlessly, and the faded windows blend well. The screen saver is all 3d and runs effortlessly. The new design takes a few minutes to get used to because it is different than XP. Especially the administrative panels.
Again, this is
not just some XP overlay that emulates Vista.
This is Vista! Take a look at the screenshots in the next section. You can see the System Information Panel that shows "Genuine Windows" and "Vista Ultimate" is the OS!
Pictures:
I don't have my digital camera right now, but I will later tonight to take pictures of the physical unit.
EDIT: I have my camera, and have included thumbnails of over 20 pictures. Click the picture to go to a huge picture!!!! They showcase everything from the model number, port/button layout, to the minor aesthetic details I mentioned earlier. I tried to get the clearest shots, but it is hard to capture scratches. If you turn up the saturation on the image with the lid, it will discolour it, but you will be able to tell where the few scratches are more easily.
For now here are some screen shots:
System Properties showing CPU, RAM (756 - the 128 for hybrid video mode), OS, Performance rating by WIndows, everything.
The My computers tab showing the HD, DVD drive, and the Virtual Drive:
The new Start Menu:
Screen Saver's 3d capabilities:
The bundled Media Center that comes with Vista Ultimate. Easy for car use or home multimedia.

I will add more pictures later. Any question's just ask!
