NEC NL6448AC20-06 6.5" LCD - ($100)
- $400 value

- ok there are some issues with this lcd
- it is from an earth technologies kit and the controller
- fried itself. The lcd has 1 bad backlight but I have
- 2 spare backlight replacements which some with it
- the light just needs to have one end soldered onto the
- holder so it can be slid into place.
- other than that everything should work fine but I no longer
- have a controller test it with. The controller blew something
- power related and the screen just shut off. There appears to be
- 0 damage to the screen, also NO INVERTER is included.

I will buy the 6.5" VGA LCD for $10.
Is there any way you can check to see if it's color or b/w?

Also, would that LCD run from a standard video card without any other controller cards needed?

Jarrod, I believe its most likely B&W based upon the datasheet and It would require some sort of controller

What size is the touch set?? A little more detail...It includes everything...Touch overlays and controller, LCD and Controler??...whats the power issue??

Whole thing is $200 right?

it is 8.4" 4096 colors, active matrix

the only thing it needs is a 31-pin hirose cable to connect controller -> lcd (which can be had from that current group buy)

The 6.5" VGA LCD for $10 is NOT color. I just did a quick search and all sites list it as B/W.

Sorry I've just been really busy I've got 2 people wanting to buy the touch kit so I'd consider it sold... yes the 6.5" lcd is B&W thats why its only $10 hopefully someone could use it for something....
