FS - Motorized 7" Widescreen In-Dash VGA LCD

Was going to use the following indash LCD screen in my car for a CarPC setup but have now just decided to buy a complete new GPS unit instead.
I had this unit fitted in the car for one week to trial it out and haven't used it since as I have now decided not to bother about going down the CarPC path anymore.

Its in as new condition and still has 8 months manufacturer warranty as well.


Motorized 7" Widescreen In-Dash LCD with Touchscreen, VGA, USB & TV Tuner



This in-dash fully motorized VGA touch screen mounts in a single one DIN dash size mount. It features a VGA input, touch panel (USB) and two composite video inputs. It also has a TV tuner builtin. The display with a VGA input can display resolutions up to 1024*768 resolution (perfect for a CarPC setup). There is an on screen display which controls the full monitor functions can be operated by the remote control or the front buttons.

Are there any dead pixels? Im assuming no since its brand new. Just need to ask. Does it have reverse trigger for rear camera install? Thanks

Also found this one on ebay. Very similiar ecept it will play DVD's and has rear camera input trigger that i need. Thanks

Stop crapping in people's posts. This one has a VGA output and a USB touchscreen to use with a carputer. Yours is a stand alone unit that doesnt interface with a carputer. Search before posting

Notice how they carefully avoid quoting the resolution in your ebay auction...

You cannot really compare these screens, one is VGA resolution with a USB touchscreen and is awesome for connecting to a CarPC the other is... well... a cheap TV. Fine if that's all you want but it isn't good CarPC material. You're not comparing apples to apples, I'd take the posted screen in a heartbeat over the ebay one FWIW.

Thats what i was looking for was some comparison. Thanks for the replies.Still waiting to know if it has input and trigger for rear camera? Have xenarc 7"indash now but looking for motorized if i can find one i like. And whats this "your" auction? Not mine. Just looking to compare. Sounds like someone didnt get any on New years Night. Sorry!

Thanks guys for pointing out the quality of screen difference

Just letting everyone know that I haven't had any decent offers as of yet and will be putting it on eBay in the next couple of days but feel free to make an offer in the meantime
