WTS: 8" 350nit 800x600 LCD with inverter, cable kit, connectors, housing

I posted this in LCD/Display but realized I should've posted it here..

Hello,
I have an LCD with following specifications:
-8" diagonal
-TFT
-active matrix
-12bit (might be 18, but I'll say at least 12bit) color
-800x600 maximum resolution
-350nits brightness
-41pin hirose connector

I am including the following with it:
-12v input backlight inverter
-hard to find LCD cable: 41pin hirose to 15/15pin
-molex 50pin connector
-50 crimp connectors (to connect to molex connector)
-a very stylish housing I started to build, which is incomplete
-a .bmp of the pinouts

The LCD is like new condition, inverter is new, connectors are new, and housing is homebuilt (not of great construction quality, but effective). The housing has black reflective-coating paper around the visible screen and on the back, to keep backlight in. Then there is a layer of black mesh like on some screen door that has UV filtering. Acrylic transparent covers sandwich the LCD to protect it from liquid. These pieces are cut to fit the LCD, but have not been glued or secured in any way yet (thus the unfinished part). The construction quality is not great, but is decent. The black mesh looks really really really stylish.

This LCD is compatible with Sharp LQ121S1DG11 in terms of its pinouts. This LCD does connect to C&T 69000 chipset in place on many single board computers. Damn this screen is bright!

I am looking for 175 (350 is a typo) shipped for the whole package, but will consider all offers. I have a single board computer with onboard LCD controller and IR sensor (compatible with ANY remote control) that I can include for 175; it is a PEAK 630A with a 350mhz/512cache P2 in it, and it has a 50pin connector that the included molex connector will connect to.

The reason I am selling this is because it is just too small for my eyes. I need a 10inch screen or something like that so that 12pt text is readable from the back seats. I put a lot of time into finding the parts to make this work, so take advantage of the fact that everything you need is in this package. Please be aware that there is still labor required to get everything going in a car, so don't assume that you can just pop it in and go.

I can take pictures; I would prefer to e-mail them to seriously interested parties.

Thanks,
Jad

Actually this may be a 51001-0163. It doesn't even matter though because I have the LCD cable, pinouts, and backlight inverter, so no research is necessary.

Thanks,
Jad

For $350 this should come with the LCD Controller but I don't see it listed. Does it come with the controller???

Yeah you're right; it should come with controller, but it doesn't. I'm not sure what I was thinking with 350.. maybe I was thinking of the nit brightness or something. US$175.00 is what I want for all of it, free shipping. I have pinouts and everything and I can recommend a controller card to use.

Thanks,
Jad

For $100, I have a small SBC that has embedded audio, RCA & S-Video Out, USB, and 2 COM Ports. This SBC has the C&T 69000 chipset, so the LCD will work with it. The SBC also has 5v/12v output for direct connection to a backlight inverter. All cables are included, but no CPU. If you want this with the LCD package, I'll say 250 shipped to domestic, 265 to international. All you have to do once you receive it is pop in a processor and wire 30pins to an included 50pin molex connector. Connect some power and you are good to go!

Thanks,
Jad

I might be interested in that screen, Jad, but I'm kinda broke right now...

What controller will this screen work with, and how much are they (approx.)?

I get some more money in a month or so, if thats interesting.

The screen works with any C&T 69000 LCD driver chipset that is common to many single board computers. If you are instead going to use a separate controller, I believe the ACG-1024 from DigitalView will serve your purpose.

Thanks,
Jad

Single Board Computers (SBC) are around $100, and I believe that DigitalView controller is around $200. It's possible you can find them for less on eBay and similar places, but those are street prices that I've found them for.

Thanks,
Jad
