I didn't do enough research when I got this screen and this version doesn't fit my custom housing I bought so I must get a different model. Everything is functioning and it is a 5 wire resistive touchscreen. Pictures are below..

I forgot to mention that this screen comes without the casing..

I may be mistaken but I vaguely remember it being the casing that holds the touchscreen to the LCD. How does your touchscreen stay on?

No the touchscreen is attached to the monitor in the pictures you see above. I'm referring to the plastic casing or whatever that the monitor actually goes in. Like this link for example..
