How can I stop subtitles coming up in WMP?

I have coded my own front-end in VB.NET and am using an embedded 'WMP11' as the DVD player. Some disks that I put in automatically come up with subtitles. I can't seem to find any control for subtitles in WMP... in VB

How are you embedding the WMP application into your application? Are you getting a handle to the application just like in your WinAmp section?

No. I simply have a WMP object on the form.

I can't find anything about it on the net. I was hoping it was something simple like WindowsMediaPlayer.DVD.Subs...... etc.

Definitely not the fastest solution, but one that makes sense... Copy your DVD's using something like DVDShrink, and rip out all the subtitles, foreign languages, and extra sound formats. Also protects your original DVD's from damage, and who wants to steal a ripped DVD?

edit: And yes, I understand you're looking to do this programmatically... I'm just unsure on how to do this at the moment.

Thanks for the reply.

It's only a few that come up with sub titles which is strange.
