Hey Yall, ever think about getting weather images from the web ?? Here's a list in a .MDB (access 2003) of the entire weather.com collection (each image is located in thier images.weather.com (sever) & images are updated by the minute..

These URL's are static on thier server.. and they never change.

Has a lot of information on differant languages. Don't know how well the other sections are but the Unmanaged/managed C++ and C# sections have some pretty good stuff if you are are a newbie/medium experiance.

Auto-shutdown controller - software driven.

My mate has wrote this for me and is happy for anyone to use it. It monitors the status of a serial port and when the curcuit is broken, it will automatically shutdown and PC or put it in hybernation etc.. Works very well. Can be downloaded from..
